1. About Us

Kindred Carnations is a trading name of MEM Digital Limited, a company registered in England and Wales.

We are a family-run floristry studio based in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, specialising in handcrafted floral arrangements and luxury gift hampers.

2. Placing an Order

Orders can be placed by:

  • Social media: Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Instagram
  • Website forms (when available)

Orders are processed on a one-to-one basis. We will discuss your requirements and provide a quote if requested.

3. Pricing

All prices displayed on our website include VAT at the current UK rate (20%).

Our gift hamper tiers are:

  • Small: From £50 (VAT inc.)
  • Medium: From £80 (VAT inc.)
  • Large: From £100 (VAT inc.)

Prices may vary depending on seasonal availability, specific requests, and customisation.

4. Payment

Payment is required upfront before we begin creating your gift. We accept:

  • Online payment via Stripe (card payments)
  • Bank transfer (BACS)

We will provide an invoice or secure payment link upon order confirmation. Orders will not be processed until payment is received.

5. Delivery

5.1 Delivery Area

We only deliver within Northamptonshire. This is a localised service to ensure quality and personal care.

5.2 Delivery Charges

  • FREE delivery within a 12-mile radius of Wellingborough
  • £10 flat rate for deliveries outside this radius but within Northamptonshire

We do not deliver outside of Northamptonshire.

5.3 Delivery Timeframes

  • We require at least 48 hours to prepare your personalised gift
  • Delivery will be made on a specific date if requested, or within 5 working days of order completion
  • All deliveries are made personally by us—never by courier

5.4 Delivery Process

We will deliver your gift directly to the recipient. If the recipient is not home:

  • We will contact you using the mobile number provided
  • We may leave the gift with a neighbour or in a safe location (with your permission)
  • It is your responsibility to inform the recipient of the delivery location if we cannot hand it to them directly

6. Preparation Time

Each gift is handcrafted and personalised. We need a minimum of 48 hours' notice to ensure we can source the best fresh flowers and premium items for your gift.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

Due to the bespoke and perishable nature of our products:

  • Once payment is received and your order is confirmed, we cannot guarantee cancellations or refunds
  • However, we are human beings and will do our best to accommodate cancellation requests made within 24 hours of placing your order
  • Cancellations after 24 hours may not be possible, as we will have already begun sourcing and preparing your gift

Please contact us immediately at hello@kindredcarnations.co.uk if you need to cancel.

8. Issues with Your Order

We take great care in creating and delivering every gift. If there is an issue with your order upon delivery, please contact us immediately so we can rectify the situation to the best of our ability.

We cannot be held responsible for:

  • Damage caused after delivery
  • Flowers that wilt due to improper care by the recipient
  • Delays caused by incorrect delivery information

9. Fresh Flowers

Fresh flowers are living products and are subject to natural processes. While we select the highest quality flowers and provide care instructions:

  • Flowers will naturally wilt over time
  • Proper care (water, light, temperature) is essential for longevity
  • Fresh flowers are non-refundable after delivery

We cannot be held responsible for flowers that wilt quicker than expected due to environmental factors or improper care.

10. Food and Drink Items

Gift hampers may contain food and drink items with best before dates. We make every effort to select items with sufficient shelf life, but please be mindful that some artisan products may have shorter best before dates.

It is the recipient's responsibility to check and consume items before their expiry dates.

11. Allergies and Dietary Requirements

Important: Please inform us during the order process of any:

  • Food allergies or intolerances
  • Dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc.)
  • Pet allergies (some flowers and plants can be harmful to pets)

We will do our best to accommodate these requirements, but we cannot guarantee that all items are free from traces of allergens. If in doubt, please ask before ordering.

12. Accuracy of Information

Please ensure all delivery information is accurate, including:

  • Recipient's name
  • Full delivery address and postcode
  • Contact phone number
  • Any special delivery instructions

We cannot be held responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect information provided by you.

13. Availability

All products are subject to availability. Fresh flowers and artisan products are seasonal, and we may need to substitute items with alternatives of equal or greater value if something is unavailable.

We will always contact you if significant changes are needed.

14. Intellectual Property

All images, designs, and content on our website and social media are owned by Kindred Carnations (MEM Digital Limited) unless otherwise stated. You may not use our content without written permission.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Kindred Carnations (MEM Digital Limited) will not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses
  • Loss of business or profits
  • Personal injury or death caused by our negligence (this liability cannot be excluded)

Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for your order.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

17. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
